Historic Langdale Mill Farmer's Market brings together over 40 local growers, bakers, and artisans every Saturday morning in Valley, Alabama. Taste the difference that farm-fresh, seasonally rooted food makes.
Historic Langdale Mill Farmer's Market has been a Saturday morning tradition in Valley since the early 2000s. What started as a handful of neighbors selling surplus garden produce has grown into one of the region's most cherished weekly gatherings — a place where local farmers, bakers, and craftspeople share their livelihoods with the community.
Our vendors grow, raise, and make everything within a short drive from Valley. When you shop here, you're not just buying food — you're supporting local families, preserving farmland, and keeping dollars in our community.
What you'll find changes with the seasons, but the quality never does. Here's a taste of what our vendors typically bring each week.
Vine-ripened varieties from local farms — Cherokee Purple, Sungold, and Green Zebra available through late summer.
Sweet, juicy peaches from orchards across the region. Peak season runs June through August — and they're unforgettable.
Deep orange yolks from free-range hens. Available every Saturday from multiple local poultry farms.
Sourdough, focaccia, and fresh baguettes baked on-site each morning. Walk in and smell the difference.
Local wildflower honey, lavender honey, and small-batch jams made from the same season's fruit.
Basil, rosemary, mint, and baby salad greens harvested the morning of the market. Fragrant and vibrant.
We're open every Saturday from spring through fall, with special events throughout the year.
